Decision Making 2

1.     Biblical Approach On Decision Making
Eccl 10:16 Woe to you, O land, whose king is a lad and whose princes feast in the morning.
Eccl 10:17 Blessed are you, O land, whose king is of nobility and whose princes eat at the appropriate time--for strength and not for drunkenness

·         Other people live to eat other eat to live!
·         The above scripture is about kingship
·         As man, we are more like kings in our sphere of influence
·         The two type of kings above are based on decision making
·         One because is immature, make immature and selfish decisions
·         The other makes mature and national decisions
·         In our families today, some man make immature and selfish decision
·         E.g. they will make immature financial decisions, instead of taking care of their families, they will take money and buy beer while there sis no food at home
·         Some will make decisions of having extra marital affairs now commonly know as small houses
·         The above examples of decisions are immature and selfish ti looks at you and does not consider the effects of your decision to your family
·         Your decision making may be influenced by your background or surrounding, if you are a son of the nobility, you will make noble decisions; you will go beyond waking up for food and drink!
·         Who surrounds or advises you will influence your decision making
·         When you get money as a man, what do you use it for: do you decide to buy non essential things or you invest it into areas that will benefit your family
·         How is your decision process now?
·         Do you look at the future of your family?
·         Do you think of generations to come or you just think food, rent all your life?
·         How is your life cycle? Is it just wake up in the morning, drink tea, go to the kombis, go to work, go back home, etc pay rent, borrow money for school fees, pay debts, borrow again, get paid pay debts, borrow again, etc.??
·         In your area of responsibility, how are you making decisions?
·         Do you make decisions based of favour, partiality, popularity, etc
The decisions you make today will affect you in future, the effect s may not appear now but will definitely appear in future
